Liev Schreiber and Plays by Shakespeare

When I saw the films X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Salt, and some others, where Liev Schreiber participated, I thought that he was a mediocre actor. The thing is that I do not like blockbusters, and think that one should not be a skillful actor to perform such roles. Yet, I had to change my mind about Liev Schreiber, when I saw the play Glengarry Glen Ross on the DVD. The actor performed the role of Richard Roma in the play and won the Tony Awards for it.

After that I decided to learn more about the actor and watch some other plays with his performance. In a law school essay help paper on acting technique I read that Liev Schreiber is famous for his performance in theatrical staging of Shakespeare’s plays. Moreover, in writing essays on history of American theatre it was pointed out that Liev Schreiber is a respected classic actor. Of course, he could not but try his hand by the role of Hamlet. Liev Schreiber is still considered one of the best performances of Hamlet. Still, the role of the Danish prince was not the only manifestation of the actor’s talent. Another role which was regarded as the best one in the theatrical life of the actor was the title role in the Macbeth.

Liev Schreiber is also famous for his participation in Broadway plays. For example, he is famous for his role in the play A View from the Bridge which was revived in 2009.
